Hello and welcome to WonderPaws Walkies. We're Hayley & Steve and we look forward to meeting you.

Having been dog owners for over 40 years from child to adult we offer a professionally insured dog walking/pet sitting service in Wrexham/ Wrecsam, Wales.

Our walks are local to the surrounding area – we visit places such as Erdigg and Llandegla for example. We try to find places to visit with your dog(s) that take into account their needs as we get to know them.

We enjoy quiet countryside walks as well as taking your dogs to secure play fields for socialising – it really is about getting to know what suits your pup. We have owned multiple dog breeds and have experience with reactive and nervous dogs, big strong dogs that like to pull on the lead and also over friendly like to say hello to everyone dogs. Our Dalmation Eira is our mascot who loves to play, she joins us on our walks.

WonderPaws Walkies strive to offer the best service for you and your beloved dogs, we can tailor our dog walking to best suit their individual needs.

We use a mud daddy to wash the pups and rub with a towel after wet walks if required but not fully washed clean.

From mountains and fields to sandy beaches! We have different types of walks available.

Whether you’re looking for a regular weekly dog walker, some holiday cover or short term cover – We aim to offer the flexibility you may need.

We're happy to offer dog walks both on and off lead depending on suitability/locations available.

We have full Business Pet Insurance for walking and transporting your dogs safely. I also have a recent DBS check for reassurance when entering your home to collect/return your dog(s). Proof can be provided upon request. Also Pet first aid trained with distinction.

All dogs are offered fresh water to drink on our walks, they will be toweled off following a walk if it has been raining etc. We also have a selection of treats that we bring along (this will be discussed with you beforehand of course!)

Terms & Conditions

1. All services must be paid for when booked. Payment must be received within 24 hours for the booking to be confirmed. For pet sitting, a 50% non-refundable* deposit is required on booking to confirm the job. A 'late payment fee' of £5 will be implemented if payment is overdue by 48 business hours if not previously discussed or agreed to.

2. Payments can taken in cash, bank transfer or via PayPal.

3. SOLO WALKS: If a customer cancels a booking, the following fees apply, if given more than 2 weeks notice then a full refund will be issued, 1 week's notice will equal a 75% refund, if less than 48 hours notice given then no refund will be issued.

4. If WonderPaws Walkies cancels your booking, a refund will be issued within 24 hours usually using the payment method the customer used to make payment. A full refund will be processed if no service has been provided. When a service has been partially provided, a partial refund will be issued subject to the provided service cost.

5. If a client changes or cancels a service while the booking is taking place, unfortunately a refund can not be issued.

6. If there is any dissatisfaction with our service, it should be discussed directly with WonderPaws Walkies. Any issues need to be brought up within 24 hours of completion of the booking; otherwise, no action can be taken.

7. All clients who book with WonderPaws Walkies agree to have photos of their pets may be taken and used for promotional purposes such as facebook/instagram. WonderPaws Walkies will not disclose any identifiable details of a client’s property.

8. Any services over 5 miles from Pentre Broughton (Wrexham) may incur a £5+ pick up fuel charge, this can be discussed at the time of booking via the contact us button or at the meet and greet.

9. All dogs must be fit/healthy and able to travel in the back of a crated van unless otherwise stated at the time of booking, alternative arrangements may be made if possible to accommodate if discussed prior.

10. When booking, the client must specify if their dog can be walked in a group, how he/she reacts with other dogs and people, also whether you allow them to be let off the lead and whether they have good recall.

11. All dogs MUST be microchipped or have an ID tag no dogs will be allowed off-lead without. This is in accordance with the 1992 Control of Dogs Order, all dogs must have a collar with a tag displaying a daytime telephone number and the owner's name and address.

12. Service estimates and quotes are free of charge and valid for 14 days. Any price increases after this time will be communicated to the client in writing before the next booking.

13. The client is liable for any damage caused to their own property by their pet (house, van, or public).

14. Any undisclosed aggression issues will be reported to the owner and, if necessary, the dog warden.

15. Emergency contact details must be provided when booking and available during the time of booking.

16. Any incurred vet bills must be reimbursed within 14 days for any service.

17. WonderPaws Walkies has the right to refuse future bookings based on any breach of these T&Cs and or failure to disclose any behaviorally or health issues prior to booking.

18. If your dog has ever shown signs of aggression a muzzle must be worn at all times during walks.
